The Squirrels are minor characters in Shimmer and Shine and in the episode Genie Treehouse. They help Leah and Zac build a new treehouse for Shimmer and Shine, Leah's two genies divine. Nahal and Tala met them at the end of the episode. They are voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. One is an eastern gray squirrel and the other one's a red squirrel. Each time one squirrel eats a nut, the old treehouse breaks and Leah cannot get out of the tree. They live in a tree outside of Leah's house in the woods at nature time. They are gray and red squirrels with long bushy tails and have fur on their bodies from head to toe. They enjoy eating nuts a lot. They have white and red stomachs as well.
