Logline "The girls meet a Lightning Genie and help him catch his runaway lightning bolt before it causes any trouble." Trivia Zac, Tala, and Nahal do not appear in this episode. Princess Samira does not appear, but is mentioned when Shaya tells Shimmer and Shine that he needs to report back to her. Zeta is indirectly mentioned when the genies tell each other that "the last one to the palace is an evil sorceress." This is the first episode not to feature the voice of Dee Bradley Baker.
